2000 Chevy Corvette Exhaust Cross Pipe — Part # HE0102 — Harbor Auto Used Part Division · Lynn, MA

When replacing an exhaust cross pipe, it's crucial to consider the exact engine configuration and emission standards to ensure proper fit and performance. This exhaust cross pipe is specifically designed for a 2000 Chevy Corvette equipped with a 5.7L 8-cylinder LS1 engine, California emissions (CAL), and an automatic transmission (AT). The pipe is a dual crossover design (CPE, DUAL), which plays a key role in balancing exhaust flow between the left and right banks of the engine, enhancing exhaust scavenging and potentially improving engine efficiency and sound. This particular part, identified by seller stock number HE0102, is graded 'A' condition, indicating it is in excellent shape according to the seller. However, buyers should verify compatibility with their vehicle's VIN and specific configuration, as variations in emissions packages or transmission types can affect fitment. The seller notes the VIN code 'G', which is associated with the LS1 engine variant, but buyers should confirm this matches their vehicle. When comparing options, ensure the cross pipe matches your engine size, emission requirements, and transmission type. This part is tailored for the 2000 Chevy Corvette, so using it on other model years or different configurations may not yield proper fit or performance.
