When considering an engine replacement for your 1972 Ford LTD Full Size, one crucial factor often overlooked is the environmental impact of your choice. This listing offers a 400 cubic inch engine core, which the seller estimates can save approximately 1194 kilograms of CO2 emissions compared to manufacturing a new engine. This environmental benefit can be significant if you're aiming for a more sustainable restoration or repair. This engine is identified by the seller stock number F13293 and is graded as 'X' by the seller, which may indicate a specific condition or quality level that you should clarify before purchase. The engine was originally from a 1972 Ford LTD Full Size, so it aligns with the donor vehicle's specifications. However, it is important to verify the engine's condition, mileage, and compatibility with your specific vehicle, as the seller notes only provide limited information. When comparing this engine to others, consider the grade and the seller's notes about the core status and estimated environmental savings. You should also check for any included components or accessories, although none are explicitly listed here. Confirming the engine's internal condition, compression, and any wear or damage will help you make a more informed decision.
