2026 GMC Canyon Engine — Part # 26312 — Union Auto Wreckers-PRP Freight · Union, NJ

When considering an engine replacement for your 2026 GMC Canyon, one often overlooked but critical factor is the engine's condition and specific configuration, especially regarding forced induction and drivetrain compatibility. This listing features a 2.7L turbocharged engine, sourced from a 4x4 GMC Canyon, ensuring it matches the original performance and drivetrain demands of your vehicle. The turbocharger adds complexity and power, so confirming the turbo setup aligns with your vehicle's requirements is essential to avoid installation issues or performance mismatches. This engine is graded A, indicating it is in excellent condition and was running well at the time of removal, a key consideration for reliability and longevity. The seller notes the engine was "RAN GOOD," which provides confidence but still warrants a thorough inspection upon receipt. The 4x4 drivetrain compatibility is crucial; this engine is specifically from a four-wheel-drive configuration, so it may not be suitable for 2WD models without modifications. Before purchasing, verify your vehicle's engine code and drivetrain setup to ensure compatibility with this 2.7L turbocharged engine. Comparing this engine to others without turbochargers or from different model years may reveal differences in mounting points, wiring harnesses, or ECU requirements. The seller's stock identifier is 26312, which can be used to reference this specific unit in communications.
