2024 Chevy Trax Engine — Part # HH0037 — Cocoa Auto Salvage-PRP Freight, RCD · Cocoa, FL

When considering a replacement engine for your 2024 Chevy Trax, one often overlooked factor is the drivetrain configuration, which directly impacts compatibility. This listing features a rear-wheel drive (RWD) engine, specifically a 1.2-liter variant from a January 2024 model. Ensuring your vehicle matches this drivetrain setup is crucial before purchase to avoid installation issues. This engine, identified by the seller stock number HH0037, has been graded A, indicating good condition. However, the seller notes a "BAD INTAKE," which suggests the intake manifold or related components may require repair or replacement. This detail is vital to factor into your budgeting and installation plans. Compared to other engines, this 1.2L RWD unit is tailored for specific applications, so buyers should verify their vehicle's engine size and drivetrain type. If your Trax is front-wheel drive or has a different engine displacement, this part may not be suitable. The estimated carbon dioxide equivalent savings of 1194kg mentioned by the seller reflects environmental considerations but does not affect mechanical compatibility. Before ordering, review your vehicle's specifications against this engine's details. The seller's notes and grade provide useful insights into condition and potential repair needs.
