2024 Chevy Trax Engine — Part # A2A167 — Giant Auto Salvage · Newark, NJ

When considering an engine replacement for your 2024 Chevy Trax, one often overlooked factor is the condition and performance history of the engine, especially regarding components like the turbocharger. This listing features a high-grade (Grade A) engine identified by stock number A2A167, noted to run nicely with a less powerful turbo setup. This could influence your vehicle's performance and emissions profile, so it's important to assess how this matches your needs. This engine is specifically from a 2024 Chevy Trax, ensuring it is a direct donor unit for this model year. The seller notes indicate the engine runs well and estimates a CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may be relevant if you are considering environmental impact or fuel efficiency. However, the "less turbo" comment suggests this engine may have a different turbo specification than some factory configurations, so verifying compatibility with your vehicle’s original setup is advisable. When comparing this engine to others, consider the turbocharger's condition and performance, as it significantly affects power output and emissions. Additionally, verify if the engine includes all necessary components for installation or if additional parts are required. The seller's grade A rating suggests good condition but does not guarantee all components are present or OEM. This listing is supported by seller notes and the grade classification, providing a reliable starting point for your purchase decision.
