2023 Dodge Charger Engine — Part # RR8986 — R & R Auto Parts, Inc.-PRP Freight, CDC, RCD · Donna, TX

When selecting a replacement engine for your 2023 Dodge Charger, one crucial but often overlooked factor is the condition of specific components such as the supercharger, especially if your Charger is equipped with a 6.2L supercharged engine. This listing offers a 6.2L A8SP RWD engine from a 2023 Dodge Charger, graded A, indicating high quality but with a noted issue: a broken ear on the supercharger crossover. This detail is critical since the supercharger is integral to your vehicle's performance and efficiency. The seller notes that the engine has approximately 5,000 miles and includes a $1,350 deduction if the supercharger core is not complete. This suggests that while the engine is largely in excellent condition, the supercharger may require repair or replacement, impacting your total cost and installation timeline. Buyers should carefully compare this with other engines, considering the cost and availability of supercharger repairs or replacements. This engine is rear-wheel drive (RWD) and matches the 6.2L displacement for the Charger, ensuring compatibility with models that use this configuration. However, it is essential to verify your vehicle’s transmission type and drivetrain to confirm fitment. The production date is estimated, so confirming the exact manufacturing details with the seller can help avoid mismatches. To proceed, review your current engine’s supercharger condition and compare it with this listing. Check for any additional components included or missing, and consider the $1,350 deduction in your budgeting. The seller’s notes provide valuable insight into the engine’s state, helping you make an informed decision.
