2022 Genesis G70 Engine — Part # 22445 — Advance Auto Salvage-PRP Freight · Murfreesboro, TN

When considering an engine replacement for your 2022 Genesis G70, one often overlooked factor is the condition of critical components like the oil pan and camshaft, which directly impact engine performance and longevity. This listing offers an engine from a 2022 Genesis G70 with a 3.3L rear-wheel-drive configuration (VIN E, 8th digit). However, the seller notes that the upper oil pan is broken, and both the right-hand variable cam timing (VCO) and camshaft are broken. These damages suggest that while the engine block and many internal components may be intact, significant repairs or part replacements will be necessary to restore full functionality. This engine is graded A by the seller, indicating overall good condition aside from the noted damages. When comparing this engine to others, consider the cost and availability of replacement parts for the oil pan and camshaft, as well as the labor involved in these repairs. The estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg reflects the environmental benefit of reusing this engine rather than manufacturing a new one. Before purchasing, verify the engine's compatibility with your specific G70 model by cross-referencing the VIN and drivetrain configuration. Also, assess whether you have access to the necessary repair resources or if a fully intact engine might better suit your needs. This engine listing is a valuable option for buyers seeking a cost-effective solution with environmental benefits and are prepared to address the noted damages.
