When considering an engine replacement for your 2022 Ford Edge, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is the environmental impact of the part. This particular engine, identified by seller stock KK0053, offers an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg compared to a turbocharged counterpart, making it a more eco-conscious choice. This could be especially important if you're mindful of reducing your vehicle's carbon footprint or aiming to meet specific environmental standards. This engine is listed as grade A, indicating high quality and reliability as per the seller's assessment. It is sourced from a 2022 Ford Edge, ensuring that the part is designed specifically for this model year and should align well with the vehicle's mechanical and electronic systems. However, the note "@15K LESS TURBO" suggests this engine might have lower mileage or usage compared to a turbocharged version, which could affect performance characteristics. Before purchasing, it’s advisable to compare this engine with other available options, particularly if your current engine is turbocharged. Consider factors such as power output, fuel efficiency, and compatibility with your vehicle’s configuration. This listing does not specify included components beyond the engine itself, so verify whether accessories or mounting hardware are part of the package. The seller notes provide valuable insight into the engine's environmental benefits, but confirm all mechanical and electronic compatibility details with your vehicle’s specifications.
