When replacing an engine, one of the most critical yet often overlooked considerations is ensuring the engine's exact specifications match your vehicle's requirements to maintain performance and reliability. This listing features a Grade A engine from a 2019 Chevy Malibu with a 1.5L engine displacement and automatic transmission (AT), as noted by the seller. The engine's CO2e savings estimate of 1194kg suggests it is a modern, efficient unit, potentially beneficial for those mindful of environmental impact. This engine is specifically sourced from a 2019 Chevy Malibu, which helps narrow down compatibility but does not guarantee fitment for other model years or trims. Buyers should verify engine code, transmission type, and any other vehicle-specific configurations before purchase. The seller's stock identifier for this part is 00018677, which is useful for referencing this exact unit during inquiries. When comparing options, consider the engine's condition grade (A), which indicates high quality or minimal wear, but always request detailed inspection reports or photos to confirm. Comparing this engine to others should involve checking displacement, transmission compatibility, and any included components or accessories. This listing does not specify included components beyond the engine itself, so confirm with the seller whether items like sensors, wiring harnesses, or mounts are included.
