When replacing an engine, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is ensuring the exact match of engine specifications to your vehicle's original setup, including displacement, transmission compatibility, and emissions standards. This 2019 Chevy Malibu engine is a 1.5L automatic transmission (LFV) model, which is essential to confirm against your vehicle's original engine code and transmission type to avoid installation issues or performance problems. This particular engine, identified by the seller stock number 00018342, comes graded as an A, indicating high quality and condition as per the seller's assessment. The engine is noted to have an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may reflect improved emissions efficiency compared to older or different engine variants. However, the exact condition details beyond grade A are not provided, so a thorough inspection is recommended. When considering this engine, compare it with your current engine's displacement and transmission type to ensure compatibility.
