When considering a replacement engine for your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is the engine's operational condition and compatibility with your vehicle's specific configuration. This engine, a 6.6L AT (L5P) variant, is listed with a grade C condition and is noted to run well, supported by a seller-provided video demonstration. However, buyers should verify the exact transmission compatibility and any electronic control module requirements before purchase. This engine is sourced from a 2018 GMC Truck Sierra 3500, ensuring it matches the donor vehicle's make, model, and year, which is essential for fitment accuracy. The seller's note highlights that the engine runs good, which is a positive sign, but the grade C rating suggests there may be some wear or cosmetic issues to consider. Comparing this engine to others in terms of mileage, warranty, and condition can help you make an informed choice. The stock identifier 00017916 is unique to this listing and should be referenced when communicating with the seller.
