2018 Ford Focus Engine — Part # 00047530 — APS-Automotive Parts Solutions Inc.-Team PRP · Rockville, MN

When considering an engine replacement for your 2018 Ford Focus, one often overlooked factor is the condition and compatibility of the timing chain cover, especially if you are planning a turbo swap. This engine listing includes a timing chain cover, which is crucial for maintaining proper timing and preventing oil leaks. The engine has a low mileage of 39,000 miles and is noted to start well, indicating good operational condition. However, the seller notes that this engine is less suitable for a turbo swap without additional modifications, so buyers should carefully assess their project requirements. This engine is graded A, suggesting it is in excellent condition relative to used parts standards. The listing does not specify included accessories beyond the timing chain cover, so verify what components come with the engine before purchase. Compared to other engines, this one offers a balance of low mileage and readiness, but the suitability for turbo applications may require further evaluation. The seller's note about estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg highlights the environmental benefit of reusing this part instead of purchasing new. Buyers should compare this engine's mileage, condition grade, and included components against other available options to ensure it meets their specific needs.
