2017 Ford Truck F550 Super Duty Engine — Part # 22577 — Walt's Auto Inc.-PRP Freight, CDC · Springfield, OH

When considering an engine replacement for your 2017 Ford Truck F550 Super Duty, one critical yet often overlooked factor is the condition of key components such as the turbocharger. This listing features a 6.7L engine that comes with a turbocharger, but note that the turbo's top is melted, which could affect performance and may require repair or replacement. Understanding this condition upfront helps you plan for additional maintenance costs and ensures you make an informed purchase. This engine is listed with a grade X, indicating it may have significant wear or damage, so careful evaluation is necessary. The 6.7L displacement is typical for this model's diesel engine, but verify all specifications match your vehicle’s requirements before purchasing. Comparing this engine to others involves checking the condition of the turbo, overall engine integrity, and compatibility with your truck's configuration. The seller notes this engine comes from a 2017 Ford F550 Super Duty, providing a direct donor vehicle for fitment consideration. However, it is essential to confirm details such as engine serial numbers and any included components with the seller. The mention of an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg reflects environmental considerations but does not impact mechanical compatibility.
