2017 Ford Edge Engine — Part # A26866 — C & H Salvage Corp URG, Goldseal-Autoly-PRP Freight · Campbell Hall, NY

When considering an engine replacement, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is the engine's history and condition, as these directly impact performance and longevity. This 2017 Ford Edge engine, identified by the seller stock number A26866, offers a robust option with a turbocharger, enhancing power and efficiency for your vehicle. With 63,000 miles on it, this engine has been gently used and is reported to run great, which is a significant advantage over unknown or heavily worn units. However, buyers should confirm compatibility with their specific Ford Edge model and engine configuration, as variations exist even within the same year. This engine comes from a well-maintained 2017 Ford Edge, ensuring it matches the original equipment specifications for that vehicle. The turbocharger inclusion means it is designed for higher performance and may require matching components and tuning for optimal operation. The seller notes an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, reflecting the environmental benefit of reusing quality parts. The engine is graded 'A,' indicating top condition, but buyers should still verify details such as engine code, transmission type, and any included accessories. When comparing this engine to other options, consider mileage, turbo presence, and condition grade. Lower mileage and a turbocharged setup often translate to better performance and longer service life but may come at a higher price. Confirming these factors against your vehicle's requirements and consulting with a mechanic can help ensure a smooth installation. This listing is supported by the seller's notes and the vehicle's year, make, and model, providing a solid foundation for compatibility checks.
