When considering an engine replacement for your 2017 Ford Edge, one of the most important yet often overlooked factors is the environmental impact of your choice. This particular engine, graded A by the seller, comes with an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, highlighting its eco-friendly advantage compared to new or less efficient options. This can be a significant consideration if you aim to reduce your vehicle's carbon footprint while maintaining performance. This engine is specifically sourced from a 2017 Ford Edge, ensuring it matches the original equipment specifications for that model year. However, before purchasing, verify the engine's compatibility with your vehicle's exact trim and configuration, as variations in engine options may exist within the same model year. The seller's notes do not specify included components, so confirm whether ancillary parts such as sensors or mounts are included or need to be sourced separately. When comparing this engine to others, consider the grade A condition, which suggests high quality and minimal wear, but always request detailed condition reports or inspection photos to assess any potential issues. Also, inquire about the engine's mileage and maintenance history if available. This listing is supported by the seller's stock identifier 230668B, which can be used to track or reference this specific engine in communications. For further assurance, consult Ford parts and Edge parts to cross-reference part specifications and compatibility. Before finalizing your purchase, ensure your vehicle's VIN and engine code match the donor engine's specifications to avoid fitment issues. Taking these steps will help you secure a reliable and environmentally conscious engine replacement for your Ford Edge.
