When replacing or upgrading your 2017 Fiat 124 Spider's engine, one often overlooked but critical consideration is ensuring the engine's exact specifications match your vehicle's requirements, especially regarding the turbocharger and engine displacement. This listing features a high-grade (Grade A) engine specifically from a 2017 Fiat 124 Spider, equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged unit, identifiable by the VIN's 8th digit "K". The turbocharged engine offers enhanced performance and efficiency, but buyers should confirm compatibility with their vehicle's VIN and turbo setup to avoid installation issues. This engine comes dismantled from the donor vehicle and includes the turbocharger, which is a significant advantage if you are seeking a complete turbo setup. The seller notes provide a YouTube reference (AkBp_0kWVEk) for additional visual confirmation and details, which can be invaluable for buyers wanting to verify the engine's condition and configuration before purchase. Comparing this engine to others requires checking the exact engine code, turbo presence, and displacement. Not all Fiat 124 Spider engines share the same turbo setup or displacement, so verifying these details against your vehicle's specifications is essential. The seller's stock identifier "25H0823" can help track this specific engine for inquiries or further information. Given the engine's Grade A condition, it suggests minimal wear and good operational status, but buyers should still inspect or request condition reports to confirm. The estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg noted by the seller may be relevant for environmentally conscious buyers considering the impact of engine replacements.
