When replacing an engine, one often overlooks the critical importance of matching the exact engine variant to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. This 2017 Chevy Trax engine, identified by the seller stock number 261425B, is a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated (less turbo) engine. Buyers should note that this engine type differs from turbocharged variants, which can affect power output and vehicle performance. The seller rates this engine as grade A, indicating high quality and condition, but buyers should verify this independently. This engine comes from a 2017 Chevy Trax, so it is specifically suited for that model year and engine configuration. While the listing notes an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, this is likely an environmental impact estimate rather than a direct performance metric.
