2016 Ford Taurus Engine — Part # 26D0315 — Eagle Auto Parts-PRP Freight, CDC · Three Rivers, MI

When selecting an engine for your 2016 Ford Taurus, a critical but often overlooked consideration is ensuring the exact engine configuration matches your vehicle's specifications, especially regarding turbocharging and oil cooler presence. This listing offers a 3.5L engine without a turbocharger and without an oil cooler, specifically matching the VIN with an 8 in the 8th digit, which is vital for compatibility. This engine, graded A by the seller, indicates a high-quality part suitable for replacement or repair. The absence of a turbocharger means it is designed for naturally aspirated performance, which affects power delivery and fuel efficiency. Additionally, the lack of an oil cooler suggests this engine variant may differ in cooling system setup compared to turbocharged versions. Buyers should verify these details against their vehicle's original equipment to ensure proper fit and function. Compared to other engine options, this naturally aspirated 3.5L engine may offer simpler maintenance and potentially lower repair costs, but it's essential to confirm your vehicle's requirements. The seller notes include a YouTube reference (fx_VcIwYXJ4) for further insight and an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may interest environmentally conscious buyers. This engine is specifically listed for a 2016 Ford Taurus, so while it fits this model year and configuration, buyers should cross-check their vehicle's VIN and engine setup before purchase.
