2016 Ford Taurus Engine 09635B

When considering an engine replacement, one crucial factor often overlooked is the engine's specific configuration and compatibility with your vehicle's VIN details. This 2016 Ford Taurus engine is a 3.5L turbocharged unit, identified by the VIN's 8th digit 'T', and notably does not include an oil cooler. Ensuring these details match your vehicle is essential to avoid installation issues and performance mismatches. This engine is graded A by the seller, indicating high quality and condition. However, it is important to verify that your Taurus model corresponds to the same engine specifications, especially the turbocharged 3.5L variant without an oil cooler. Differences in engine cooling systems or turbo configurations can affect fitment and function. When comparing options, check if the engine's turbo setup and absence of an oil cooler align with your vehicle’s original equipment. If your Taurus originally came with an oil cooler, this engine might not be compatible without modifications. The seller notes an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may be relevant if you're considering environmental impact or regulatory compliance. This listing is specifically for a 2016 Ford Taurus engine, providing a direct match for vehicles with the same VIN configuration. For further parts or options, consider exploring Ford parts or more specific Taurus parts. Before purchasing, confirm your vehicle's engine type, turbo presence, and oil cooler setup. This will help ensure a smooth replacement process and optimal engine performance. Reach out to the seller for any additional details or verification to make an informed decision.
