2015 Ford Truck F150 Engine — Part # B25700 — Foreign Auto Salvage-KATRA, PRP Freight · Ft.Wright, KY

When replacing or upgrading the engine in your 2015 Ford F150, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is the engine's operational history and warranty coverage. This engine, with 85,961 miles, has been test-run with turbos, providing a valuable assurance of its functional condition. Such testing is crucial because it helps identify any immediate issues and ensures the engine performs as expected before installation. This particular engine is graded A, indicating high quality and reliability. The seller provides a 6-month parts-only warranty, with options to extend coverage to 1 year or 3 years with increased labor reimbursement, which can be a significant consideration for long-term peace of mind. The extended warranties come at additional costs ($575 for 1 year and $845 for 3 years), with labor rates up to $120 per hour, so evaluating your budget and risk tolerance is essential. When comparing this engine to others, consider the mileage, test-run status, warranty options, and seller grade. Engines without test runs or with higher mileage may present more uncertainty. The seller notes an estimated CO2e savings of 1194 kg, an interesting environmental consideration if sustainability is part of your decision-making.
