When considering an engine replacement for your 2015 Ford Fiesta, one often overlooked but crucial factor is the engine's specific VIN digit compatibility and condition grade. This engine is sourced from a 2015 Ford Fiesta with a 1.6L displacement and an 8th digit VIN "J," indicating precise vehicle matching that can significantly impact fit and function. The engine, identified by seller stock number K521, has a mileage of 129,000 miles and is graded A, reflecting a high-quality used part. It is compatible with Ford Fiesta models from 2014 to 2017 with the same engine size and VIN specification, ensuring a closer match to your vehicle's original setup. This engine offers a practical balance between cost and reliability, especially for those seeking to maintain their Fiesta's performance without the expense of a brand-new engine. The seller notes an estimated CO2e savings of 1194 kg, highlighting an environmental benefit by reusing a quality part. However, buyers should verify the engine's exact condition, compression, and any included components before purchase, as these details can affect installation and performance. When comparing this engine to other options, consider the mileage and grade, as lower mileage and higher grades typically indicate better longevity. Also, confirm the engine's compatibility with your vehicle's VIN and engine code to avoid fitment issues. The seller's notes provide useful compatibility information, but further verification is recommended.
