2015 Chevy Equinox Engine — Part # A26120 — C & H Salvage Corp URG, Goldseal-Autoly-PRP Freight · Campbell Hall, NY

When considering an engine replacement for your 2015 Chevy Equinox, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is the engine's mileage and operational history. This particular engine has 90,000 miles on it and is graded A, indicating it was in excellent running condition at the time of removal. The seller notes that it "RAN GREAT," which suggests reliable performance, but as with any used engine, confirming its maintenance and service history is essential to ensure it meets your expectations. This engine, identified by the seller stock number A26120, is specifically from a 2015 Chevy Equinox, making it a direct donor part for that model year. It is important to verify that your vehicle's engine specifications, such as engine displacement and configuration, match this unit to avoid compatibility issues. Since the listing does not specify these details, buyers should compare their vehicle's VIN or engine code with the seller's information to confirm fitment. Compared to purchasing a new engine, this used engine offers a cost-effective alternative with the added benefit of reducing environmental impact, as noted by the estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg. However, buyers should weigh the risks of unknown wear and potential future repairs against the savings. The seller's grade A rating and positive running condition provide confidence, but it is prudent to inquire about any included warranties or return policies. Also, consider professional inspection before installation. For those looking to replace or upgrade their 2015 Chevy Equinox engine, this option presents a solid balance of value and reliability.
