2014 Ford Escape Engine — Part # 00018235 — Snyder's-Team PRP, Gold Seal Certified · Holland, TX

When considering an engine replacement for your 2014 Ford Escape, one critical aspect often overlooked is the engine's operational condition and compatibility with your vehicle's transmission type. This listing offers a Grade A engine with a 1.6L displacement paired with an automatic transmission (AT), which is essential to verify against your current setup to ensure proper fit and function. This engine, identified by seller stock number 00018235, is noted to run great, indicating it has been tested or inspected to a satisfactory operational standard. However, buyers should confirm the engine's compatibility with their specific Escape model, as variations in engine codes or configurations may exist. The seller also mentions an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, which reflects environmental benefits associated with reusing this engine rather than sourcing new. When comparing this engine to others, consider the displacement, transmission type, and condition grade. Grade A suggests high quality, but it's prudent to inquire about mileage, maintenance history, and any warranty offered. This engine is specifically from a 2014 Ford Escape, so ensure your vehicle matches this year and model for best compatibility. The seller's notes and grade provide confidence in the engine's condition, but verifying the engine's serial number or part number against your vehicle's requirements is recommended. Additionally, check for included components such as sensors or mounts, which may affect installation.
