2013 Ford Taurus Engine — Part # PL09 — 4 Brothers Inc.-ARA · Lincoln, NE

When considering an engine replacement for your 2013 Ford Taurus, one often overlooked but crucial factor is the presence or absence of turbochargers. This particular engine is noted by the seller to have no turbos, which can significantly affect performance characteristics, fuel efficiency, and compatibility with your vehicle's existing systems. It's essential to verify this detail against your current engine setup to ensure a proper match. This listing offers a Grade A engine, indicating a high-quality part likely in excellent condition, suitable for restoring your Taurus's performance. The seller's notes mention an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, suggesting this engine may be more environmentally friendly or efficient compared to alternatives, though this figure is an estimate and should be considered as supplementary information. Before purchasing, compare this engine's specifications with your vehicle's original equipment to confirm fitment and compatibility. Pay attention to engine mounts, wiring harness connections, and sensor compatibility. The absence of turbos means this engine is naturally aspirated, which may influence power output and fuel economy relative to turbocharged variants. This engine is specifically from a 2013 Ford Taurus, ensuring it matches that model year and manufacturer.
