Description

When replacing an engine, one of the most critical considerations is ensuring the exact engine configuration matches your vehicle's specifications to avoid compatibility issues and additional modifications. This 2013 Ford Fiesta engine, identified by the seller stock number B1125, is a 1.6L engine corresponding to VIN position J (8th digit), which is essential to verify against your vehicle's VIN for proper fitment. The seller notes that this engine has been tested and is in great condition, coming from a running vehicle, which adds confidence in its reliability. This engine is graded A, indicating high quality and minimal wear, which is a significant factor when comparing used engines. While the seller confirms the engine's condition and testing, buyers should still verify the engine's compatibility with their specific Fiesta model year and trim, as variations can exist even within the same model year. Additionally, consider whether this engine includes all necessary components or if additional parts will be required for installation. When comparing this engine to others, check for matching engine codes, physical condition, and included components. The seller's note about estimated CO2e savings (1194kg) highlights the environmental benefit of reusing this engine instead of purchasing a new one. For more information on compatible parts, you can explore Ford parts and Fiesta parts. Before purchasing, ensure you have your vehicle's VIN handy to confirm the engine code matches. Also, inquire about included components and request condition details or photos if not provided. This thorough verification will help you make an informed decision and ensure a smoother installation process. Don't hesitate to reach out to the seller for any additional information or clarification regarding this engine's specifics.
