2013 Audi S5 Engine 1224-01

When considering an engine replacement for your 2013 Audi S5, it's crucial to evaluate the engine's condition beyond just its appearance or grade. This particular engine is a 3.0L with the CGXC code, corresponding to the VIN's 5th digit 'G'. It was sourced from a vehicle that experienced flooding, which can have significant implications for engine integrity. Although the engine spins over by hand, indicating that the internal components are not seized, the flood history means that internal damage or corrosion could be present. This engine is sold as-is with no warranty, so thorough inspection or consultation with a professional mechanic is advisable before purchase. This engine is graded 'A', suggesting it is in good condition cosmetically or structurally, but the flood note should be carefully considered. Comparing this unit to other available engines for the 2013 Audi S5, especially those without flood history, will help ensure you select the best option for your needs. The seller stock identifier for this engine is 1224-01, which you can reference when inquiring or ordering. For buyers seeking parts specific to the Audi S5 or other Audi models, reviewing Audi parts and S5 parts can provide additional options and information. Before finalizing your purchase, verify the engine's compatibility with your vehicle's VIN and engine code, and consider professional evaluation to assess any potential flood damage. Taking these steps will help you make an informed decision and ensure the longevity of your vehicle's performance.
