When considering an engine replacement for your 2012 Dodge Journey, one often overlooked but crucial factor is the mileage and operational history of the engine. This engine has been test-run and comes with a mileage of 97,657 miles, offering a balance between usage and remaining life expectancy. Such information helps set realistic expectations about the engine's performance and longevity. This listing features a grade A engine sourced from a 2012 Dodge Journey, identified by the seller stock number B25094. The engine has undergone testing to ensure it runs, which adds a layer of reliability compared to untested units. The seller provides a limited warranty of 6 months on parts, with optional protection plans extending coverage to one or three years, including increased labor reimbursement rates. These warranty options can be a significant consideration when investing in a used engine. When comparing this engine to others, consider the mileage, warranty terms, and the presence of a test run. Engines with lower mileage or longer warranty terms may offer better value but often at a higher cost. Confirming the engine's compatibility with your specific vehicle configuration is essential, as fitment can vary with engine options and trim levels. The seller notes the engine's estimated CO2e savings of 1194 kg, which may be relevant for environmentally conscious buyers or compliance with local regulations. Before purchase, verify the engine's specifications against your vehicle's requirements and assess the warranty coverage that best suits your needs. This engine listing is a solid choice for those seeking a tested, moderately used engine with warranty support for a 2012 Dodge Journey.
