This EJ255 engine is a turbocharged 2.5L unit commonly found in WRX models within the specified years. While it is listed for a 2009 Subaru Impreza, buyers should verify the exact engine variant and compatibility with their specific Impreza trim and model year, as variations in emissions, wiring harnesses, and ECU programming may exist. The seller notes that this engine is tested and imported, which supports confidence in its condition but does not substitute for a thorough inspection upon receipt. Comparing this engine to other options, the low mileage and A grade suggest a high-quality used part, potentially extending the life of your vehicle. However, buyers should confirm the engine's physical condition, check for any leaks or damage, and ensure that all necessary components and sensors are included or sourced separately. For those looking to replace or upgrade their Impreza's engine, this EJ255 offers a reliable choice backed by a warranty and direct import status.
