2007 Chevy Corvette Steering Rack/Box/Gear 1131R

When replacing the steering rack on your 2007 Chevy Corvette, it's crucial to verify the condition of connected components like tie rods, as these affect steering precision and safety. This listing offers a steering rack/box/gear graded A, indicating good overall condition, but note the seller's remark about a bad tie rod (EIV SFP022326 CML031726). This suggests the tie rod is not included or requires replacement, so plan accordingly. This steering rack is a core part of your Corvette's steering system, responsible for translating your steering wheel input into wheel movement. The grade A condition reflects minimal wear and reliable operation, but the tie rod issue means you should inspect your existing tie rods or source replacements to ensure full functionality. Before purchasing, compare this part's condition and compatibility with your vehicle's specific configuration. Confirm the fitment by cross-referencing the seller stock identifier 1131R and consult the Steering Rack Box Gear category for alternatives or related parts. Also, explore other Chevy parts and Corvette parts to complete your repair or upgrade. Take the time to verify your tie rod condition and compatibility to avoid additional repairs. This steering rack is a solid choice if you need a quality replacement but be prepared to address the tie rod separately. Reach out to the seller for more details or to confirm specifics before ordering.
