2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Van Engine — Part # 160033 — Jacks Auto Parts · Sauk Centre, MN

When considering an engine replacement for your 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Van, one often overlooked yet critical factor is the presence or absence of specific components such as the turbocharger. This listing offers a 2.7-liter automatic transmission engine, noted as an exchange unit and graded C, which means it may have some wear or cosmetic imperfections. Importantly, this engine is listed as "LESS TURBO," indicating the turbocharger is not included with this unit and would need to be sourced separately if your vehicle requires it. This engine is a direct fit for the 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Van with a 2.7L engine and automatic transmission, providing a solid replacement option. The "exchange" designation suggests this engine is part of a core exchange program, which may involve returning a used engine. The seller notes "C NOTES," which typically refers to condition grading, so buyers should anticipate some usage signs or minor defects. The estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg highlights the environmental benefit of reusing this engine rather than purchasing new. When comparing options, verify whether your current engine setup includes a turbocharger and whether this unit meets your needs without it. Also, check the condition grade and what that entails for your intended use. Confirm compatibility with your vehicle’s transmission and other configurations. This listing is specifically for the 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Van, so ensure your vehicle matches this application before purchase. For additional Dodge parts, you can explore Dodge parts.
