2006 Chrysler Town And Country Engine — Part # AB004 — Andrews Auto Salvage & Parts LLC · Griffin, GA

When considering an engine replacement for your 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, one often overlooked factor is the vehicle's computer system compatibility. This engine comes from a van with noted computer issues, which could affect integration and performance if the engine's control modules are not fully functional or compatible with your vehicle's existing systems. It's crucial to assess the condition of the engine's electronic components alongside the mechanical parts. This listing features an engine graded A, indicating it is in good condition, sourced from a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. The seller notes that the donor van had computer issues but was running at the time of removal. While the engine itself is mechanically sound, the computer-related concerns suggest you should verify the engine control unit (ECU) and related electronics before purchase. When comparing this engine to others, consider whether the ECU is included and if it matches your vehicle's specifications. If the ECU is not included or incompatible, additional programming or replacement may be necessary. Also, check for any included components that come with the engine to avoid unexpected costs. This product is specifically from a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, so compatibility with other models or years requires further verification. The seller's stock identifier for this engine is AB004. For more details on compatible parts, you can explore Chrysler parts or specifically Town and Country parts. Before purchasing, ensure you confirm the engine's electronic compatibility with your vehicle and inspect the condition of the engine thoroughly.
