When considering an engine replacement for your 2005 Chrysler Crossfire, one of the most critical factors often overlooked is ensuring the engine matches the exact specifications of your vehicle, including the engine size and supercharger presence. This listing offers a 6-cylinder 3.2L engine without the supercharged option, specifically from a Crossfire with VIN 8th digit 'L'. This detail is vital because engines with and without superchargers differ significantly in performance and compatibility. This engine is graded A by the seller, indicating it is in excellent condition. However, buyers should verify that their vehicle's engine configuration matches this non-supercharged variant to avoid installation issues. The seller notes include a YouTube reference (KkWGL6BZbAE) which may provide additional visual confirmation or operational insights. When comparing this engine to others, consider the presence or absence of a supercharger, as it impacts power output and may require different supporting components. Also, note the environmental impact estimate provided: an estimated CO2e savings of 1194 kg, which might interest environmentally conscious buyers. This engine comes from a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire, making it a direct donor unit for the same model year and configuration.
