2003 Ford Thunderbird Engine 25K1235

When considering an engine replacement for your 2003 Ford Thunderbird, one often overlooked factor is the condition and completeness of the engine assembly. This particular engine is a 3.9L DOHC variant, identified by the VIN's 8th digit 'A', which is crucial for ensuring the correct engine type for your vehicle. Notably, this engine requires an oil pan, which is not included, so buyers should be prepared to source this component separately to complete the installation. This engine comes graded as 'A', indicating it is in good condition according to the seller's assessment. However, since the oil pan is missing, it's important to verify the compatibility and availability of a suitable replacement oil pan before purchase. The engine's estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg suggests it is a more environmentally conscious choice compared to other options, potentially appealing to eco-aware buyers. When comparing this engine to others, consider the specific 3.9L DOHC configuration and the required oil pan, as these factors directly impact installation and performance. The seller's stock identifier for this engine is 25K1235, which can be useful when inquiring or ordering. For buyers interested in Ford or Thunderbird parts, exploring the Ford parts and Thunderbird parts sections can provide additional components and compatibility information. Before finalizing your purchase, ensure you confirm the engine's VIN compatibility with your vehicle, assess the condition of included components, and plan for the missing oil pan. Taking these steps will help ensure a smooth replacement process and optimal engine performance.
