2002 Chevy Corvette AC Evaporator — Part # X06012 — Toms Foreign Auto Part-PRP Freight, RCD · Waterbury, CT

When replacing the AC evaporator in your 2002 Chevy Corvette, one of the most overlooked but critical factors is ensuring the exact match of the evaporator's dimensions and mounting points to your vehicle's HVAC system. The AC evaporator is a key component in your car's air conditioning system, responsible for absorbing heat from the cabin air and providing cool air inside the vehicle. This particular part, identified by seller stock number X06012, is a Grade A AC evaporator specifically from a 2002 Chevy Corvette, ensuring it was originally designed for this model year and make. While this listing confirms the part's origin and condition grade, it does not specify additional details such as whether it includes all necessary seals or if it has been pressure tested. Buyers should compare this evaporator's specifications with their existing unit or consult a professional to verify compatibility, especially if their Corvette has any aftermarket HVAC modifications or if they are considering installation in a different model year. When purchasing, consider factors such as the evaporator's core size, inlet/outlet tube configuration, and mounting bracket locations. Comparing these with your vehicle's current evaporator will help avoid installation issues. This part is a direct fit for the 2002 Chevy Corvette, but buyers should still verify fitment if their vehicle has unique trim or optional equipment that might affect HVAC components. This product comes from a reputable seller who has graded it as 'A', indicating high quality. For more options or related parts, you can explore Chevy parts or specifically Corvette parts.
