When replacing a power steering rack, one of the most overlooked factors is ensuring the part matches the vehicle's drivetrain configuration and steering system specifics. This power steering rack is listed for a 2000 Chevy Corvette with rear-wheel drive (RWD), identified by seller stock number CAA0377. The seller notes include the part number 26075933 CPE, which may help in cross-referencing but should not be assumed as an OEM number without verification. This component is essential for translating the steering wheel's rotation into the turning of the wheels, and it must fit precisely to maintain proper steering feel and safety. The grade "A" condition suggests the part is in excellent shape, but buyers should confirm the exact steering rack specifications for their Corvette model year and RWD setup before purchase. When comparing options, consider the steering rack's mounting points, input shaft spline count, and overall dimensions to ensure compatibility. This listing does not explicitly confirm these details, so buyers should cross-check with their vehicle's service manual or consult a professional. This part is categorized under the Power Steering Rack Box Gear category and is suitable for those seeking quality components for their Chevy Corvette.
