1999 Ford Truck F450 Super Duty Engine — Part # XX382 — Ripples Service, Inc. · Upper Marlboro, MD

When considering an engine replacement for your 1999 Ford Truck F450 Super Duty, one of the most critical factors often overlooked is the engine's operational history and condition grade. This listing offers a 7.3-liter engine with a high mileage of 428,000 miles, graded as 'C' by the seller, indicating moderate wear and usage. Understanding the engine's mileage and condition grade helps set realistic expectations about its remaining lifespan and potential maintenance needs. This engine, identified by the seller stock number XX382, is specifically from a 1999 Ford Truck F450 Super Duty, ensuring it matches the donor vehicle's specifications. The seller notes that the engine runs, supported by a YouTube video demonstration, which can provide visual confirmation of its operational status. However, the high mileage suggests buyers should carefully assess the engine's internal condition and consider potential refurbishments. When comparing this engine to others, consider the mileage, condition grade, and evidence of running condition. Engines with lower mileage or higher grades may offer longer service life but at a higher cost. The inclusion of a video is a valuable resource to verify running condition, which not all listings provide. Before purchasing, verify compatibility with your specific vehicle configuration, including engine mounts and transmission interfaces. The seller's notes and grade provide insight but do not guarantee fitment or longevity. For more Ford engine options and related components, explore our collection of Ford parts.
