Description

When considering a replacement hood for your 1999 Chevy Corvette, it's important to assess the condition and cosmetic details that might affect your decision. This hood, identified by seller stock number 170161, comes with notable wear including scraping along the right edge and numerous scratches, which the seller has explicitly noted. Graded as 'X', this part reflects its condition and should be evaluated carefully against your restoration or repair needs. This hood is a direct donor part from a 1999 Chevy Corvette, ensuring it matches the original dimensions and fitment for that model year. However, the condition issues mean you might want to compare it with other options if a pristine appearance is critical. The seller's note about CO2e savings of 95kg highlights an environmental benefit in choosing a recycled part. Before purchase, verify the hood's compatibility with your Corvette's specific trim and configuration, as these factors can influence fit. Also, consider the extent of cosmetic damage and whether you plan to repaint or repair the surface.
