Description

When replacing the AC evaporator housing on your 1999 Chevy Corvette, it's crucial to confirm the exact engine size and model year to ensure proper fit and function. This listing offers the AC evaporator housing only, specifically from a 1999 Corvette with a 5.7L engine, as noted by the seller. The housing is a vital component in your vehicle's air conditioning system, responsible for housing the evaporator core that cools the air before it enters the cabin. This part is graded "X" by the seller, indicating a specific condition level that you should verify before purchase. Since this listing does not include the evaporator core itself or any additional components, buyers should be aware that installation will require the existing core or a separate purchase. Comparing this part to others involves checking the compatibility with your exact Corvette model and engine configuration, as variations can affect fitment. The seller's note confirms the part is from a 2-99 production date Corvette with a 5.7L engine, which helps narrow down compatibility. However, it's essential to cross-check this with your vehicle's build date and engine size to avoid mismatches. For more details on related components or to explore other options, consider browsing Chevy parts or Corvette parts. Before ordering, carefully review your vehicle's specifications and compare them to the provided details. If uncertain, consult with a professional or the seller to confirm this evaporator housing meets your Corvette's requirements. Taking these steps will help ensure a smooth replacement process and restore your AC system's performance.
