1998 Chevy Corvette Exhaust Muffler — Part # ZL8191 — All American Classics · Vancouver, WA

When replacing an exhaust muffler, one often overlooked factor is the specific exhaust system configuration, especially when dealing with performance parts like a Borla catback system. This 1998 Chevy Corvette exhaust muffler, identified by seller stock number ZL8191, is a performance-oriented component designed to optimize exhaust flow and sound. However, buyers should note that this part is graded "X" and comes with a seller note to "INSPECT," indicating that the condition may vary and should be carefully evaluated before purchase. This muffler is part of a Borla catback exhaust system, which typically includes components from the catalytic converter back, designed to improve horsepower and provide a distinctive exhaust note. Since the listing does not specify the exact side or dimensions, and given the grade and inspection note, buyers should compare this part carefully with their vehicle's existing setup to ensure compatibility. When considering this muffler, compare it against your current exhaust system's layout and dimensions, and verify that it matches the 1998 Chevy Corvette configuration. The seller's note suggests the need for a thorough inspection, so requesting detailed photos or condition reports is advisable. This part is listed specifically for the 1998 Chevy Corvette, so compatibility with other model years or vehicles is not guaranteed.
