These details are vital to ensure seamless integration and optimal vehicle performance. This listing offers a 4.0L engine that matches the original specifications of the 1994 Ford Explorer. The EFI system provides improved fuel efficiency and smoother throttle response compared to carbureted engines. The AOD4 transmission compatibility confirms it is suited for vehicles with rear-wheel drive, aligning with the donor vehicle's drivetrain. Before purchasing, verify your vehicle's transmission type and drivetrain to confirm compatibility. The seller notes indicate this engine is graded 'A', suggesting high quality and condition, but it's prudent to inquire about any additional testing or warranties. The estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg also highlight this engine's environmental efficiency relative to older or less efficient units. In comparison to other engine options, this unit's EFI and AOD4 transmission pairing may offer better performance and fuel economy.
