1994 Chevy Camaro Engine — Part # 1018E4 — Mark's Salvage & Auto Parts · Saginaw, MN

When considering a replacement engine for your 1994 Chevy Camaro, one often overlooked factor is the engine's operational status and testing history. This particular engine is listed as a "No Start, No Crank" unit, which means it has not been tested for functionality and may require significant repairs or rebuilding before it can be used. Understanding this upfront can save you time and unexpected expenses. This engine, identified by the seller stock number 1018E4, is sourced from a 1994 Chevy Camaro. It is graded as a C condition part, indicating it may have visible wear or issues affecting performance. The seller notes explicitly mention it is untested and does not crank or start, so buyers should be prepared for potential internal problems or the need for diagnostic work. When comparing this engine to others, consider the condition grade and testing status. Engines that have been tested and confirmed running typically come at a higher price but reduce uncertainty. In contrast, this engine might be suitable if you are looking for a core for rebuilding or have the expertise to diagnose and repair. Always verify the engine's specifications and compatibility with your vehicle's exact model and configuration before purchasing. The seller's notes also estimate a CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may be relevant for environmentally conscious buyers considering engine reuse.
