1993 Nissan 300ZX Engine — Part # 250071 — Jellison's Auto · Ham Lake, MN

When considering an engine replacement for your 1993 Nissan 300ZX, it's crucial to evaluate the core condition and starting functionality. This listing offers a Nissan 300ZX engine identified by stock number 250071, graded A by the seller but noted as a 'NO START' core unit. This means the engine does not currently start and is being sold primarily for core exchange or rebuilding purposes. Buyers should compare this unit's condition and price against fully functional engines or rebuilt options to determine the best fit for their needs. This engine comes from a 1993 Nissan 300ZX, a classic sports car known for its performance and engineering. The seller's note highlights the engine as a core with an estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, indicating environmental benefits if reused or rebuilt instead of purchasing a new unit. However, the no-start condition requires careful consideration regarding repair costs and feasibility. Before purchasing, verify the engine's compatibility with your specific 300ZX model and engine variant, as Nissan offered multiple configurations that year. Review the seller's grade 'A' rating, which suggests good overall condition aside from the no-start issue. Also, consider the potential need for additional parts or labor to restore functionality. For further assurance, consult the Nissan parts and 300ZX parts resources to explore compatible components and compare alternatives. This approach ensures you make an informed decision aligned with your repair goals. Take advantage of this opportunity to acquire a core engine with environmental benefits and a solid condition grade, but prepare for necessary diagnostics and repairs to get your 1993 Nissan 300ZX back on the road.
