1985 Chevy 30 Van G30 Engine — Part # 8114 — Villanueva Auto Inc · Salinas, CA

When considering an engine replacement for your 1985 Chevy 30 Van G30, one of the most critical yet often overlooked factors is ensuring the exact engine code and specifications match your vehicle's original setup. This helps avoid compatibility issues and ensures optimal performance. This listing offers a Chevy 8-350 engine, which is a 5.7-liter V8, identified by the VIN code 'M' in the 8th digit position, a key detail for matching your vehicle's original engine configuration. The engine is graded 'X' by the seller, indicating a specific condition level that you should verify before purchase. This engine is a direct donor from a 1985 Chevy 30 Van G30, so it is tailored to fit this model's engine bay and connections. However, buyers should compare the engine's exact specifications and condition against their vehicle's needs, especially since the seller notes the engine's estimated CO2e savings of 1194kg, which may be relevant for environmental considerations or regulations. When comparing this engine to others, check for the engine's physical condition, mileage, and any included components or accessories. The seller's notes do not specify included parts beyond the engine itself, so confirm what comes with the purchase. Additionally, verify the engine's compatibility with your vehicle's transmission and emission standards. This listing is supported by the seller record indicating the engine's year, make, model, and engine code, which are crucial for fitment.
