Description

The 2007 Ford Fusion Air Injection Pump is a critical component of the vehicle's emission control system, specifically designed for the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine variant. This pump, also known as the secondary air injection pump, helps reduce exhaust emissions by injecting clean air into the exhaust stream during cold starts. It is a direct replacement part that ensures your Fusion meets emission standards and runs efficiently. When searching for the right replacement, it is important to verify compatibility with your vehicle's exact submodel and emissions package, as OEM part numbers vary. This pump is part of the broader Air Injection Pump category and is a genuine option among Ford parts tailored for the Fusion parts lineup. Proper fitment and function depend on matching the pump to the 2.3L engine and confirming the vehicle’s emissions configuration, such as PZEV or non-PZEV versions. This ensures optimal performance and compliance with factory specifications.
